Job Description:
- Training & Development
- Maintain skill inventory of employees and identify skill gaps in the organization
- Obtain feedback from the training group after every session so as to improve training imparted
- Interact with the Operations Department to gain an understanding of the kind of skill set required so that appropriate training can be imparted
- Coordinate & facilitate the identification of training needs
- Collate data from all training sessions & maintain all relevant records on performance demonstrated by incumbents
- Develop training modules on a need basis in order to increase the efficiency of incumbents on the shop-floor
- Assess current training techniques on performance of incumbents on the shop-floor and pre defined budgets.
- Be responsible for internal employee activities & HR initiatives
- Handle the rewards & recognitions programme for the company
- Implement employee welfare programmes in the organisation
- Managing the performance management system for the company
- Be responsible for additional functions such as recruitment (there is a Senior Manager in this role)
- Assist the recruitment team in decisions around hiring candidates by identifying trainable incumbents
The ideal candidate should be aware of people challenges faced in a Media company and a through understanding of organization dynamics.
