Job Description:
  1. Training & Development
  2. Maintain skill inventory of employees and identify skill gaps in the organization
  3. Obtain feedback from the training group after every session so as to improve training imparted
  4. Interact with the Operations Department to gain an understanding of the kind of skill set required so that appropriate training can be imparted
  5. Coordinate & facilitate the identification of training needs
  6. Collate data from all training sessions & maintain all relevant records on performance demonstrated by incumbents
  7. Develop training modules on a need basis in order to increase the efficiency of incumbents on the shop-floor
  8. Assess current training techniques on performance of incumbents on the shop-floor and pre defined budgets.
  9. Be responsible for internal employee activities & HR initiatives
  10. Handle the rewards & recognitions programme for the company
  11. Implement employee welfare programmes in the organisation
  12. Managing the performance management system for the company
  13. Be responsible for additional functions such as recruitment (there is a Senior Manager in this role)
  14. Assist the recruitment team in decisions around hiring candidates by identifying trainable incumbents
Desired Candidate Profile: Graduate, 8 - 10 years total experience.

The ideal candidate should be aware of people challenges faced in a Media company and a through understanding of organization dynamics.
